The BIODESIGN logo incorporates the micro symbol “µ” as its centerpiece, a meaningful representation of the organization’s identity. In today’s crowded logo landscape, we recognize that abstract symbolic logos may not be immediately recognizable. To address this, we utilized the micro symbol to convey a clear, direct meaning while creating a visually impactful design.
BIODESIGN 的標誌以微符號「µ」作為核心元素,象徵組織的重要意涵。在當今競爭激烈的標誌市場中,我們意識到抽象的符號標誌可能無法被即時辨認。因此,我們運用微符號來傳達清晰而直接的意義,同時呈現具視覺衝擊力的設計。
Wordmark文字標誌
The wordmark integrates the micro symbol as its foundation but extends it to form the word “BIODESIGN.” This approach ensures that the micro symbol remains central to the brand identity. It is also applied creatively throughout the brand, such as using brackets to highlight important elements and visually encapsulate key subjects within them.
字標保留了微符號的核心元素,但將其延展形成了「BIODESIGN」這個單詞。此設計確保微符號在品牌識別中始終保持中心地位。同時,品牌也將其創意地運用,例如使用括號來突顯重要元素,將關鍵主題包覆在括號之中以增加視覺效果和意義。
Color顏色
Our logo colo is designed to primarily appear in black or white. However, in certain instances, we adapt to extreme background colors by applying flexibility to ensure the logo maintains its clarity and impact.
我們的標誌顏色主要以黑色和白色為主。然而,在某些情況下,當放置於極端背景顏色上時,我們會靈活調整,以確保標誌的清晰度和效果得以保持。
Clearspace
空間
To ensure both our symbol and wordmark have enough breathing room, we maintain clear space around them. For the symbol, we use the width of the micro symbol to define the surrounding space. For the wordmark, we use the width of the letter “B” to establish the necessary clear space.
為了確保我們的標誌符號和字型都有足夠的呼吸空間,我們在它們周圍保持清晰的空間。對於符號,我們使用微符號的寬度來界定周圍的空間。對於字型,我們使用字母「B」的寬度來確定所需的清晰空間。

Our logos are typically placed on solid colors, textures, or content. Maintaining proper contrast is essential to ensure the logo remains clear and readable.

Readability
可讀性
When placing a logo on a background, maintain a contrast ratio of at least 4.5:1 to ensure optimal readability. However, in specific design scenarios, a logo may be placed on a similar-colored background to achieve a particular visual effect or purpose (It requires approval from the design team). If the contrast falls below this threshold, adjust the background color or choose an alternative that improves visibility.
當將標誌放置在背景上時,需保持至少 4.5:1 的對比度,以確保最佳的可讀性。然而,在特定設計情境下,標誌可能會放置於相似色背景上,以達到特定的視覺效果或設計目的。這類設計需經設計團隊批准。如果對比度低於此標準,請調整背景顏色或選擇其他更能提升標誌可見性的方案。
Special-Use Logos特殊使用
In certain situations, we may adjust the logo’s color to better fit the context of production. Additionally, we may incorporate various media elements beneath the logo to emphasize specific subjects or highlight key messages.
在某些情況下,我們可能會根據製作背景調整標誌的顏色,並且在標誌下方應用多種媒介元素,以突出某些主題或強調關鍵訊息。
“Biodesign” may appear as an informational message, such as in book titles, posters, or signage. In these cases, it should not be regarded as a logo.
“Biodesign” 可能會出現在如書名、海報或標示等資訊性訊息中。在這些情況下,它不應被視為商標。

Consistently using our logos helps strengthen brand recognition while leaving room for creativity in other areas. Please avoid the following incorrect uses.
